Eros: Body & sensation
Body Mapping
A cerebral companion to your self-touch practice, mapping where your attention wants to go.
This pairs with a slow, unhurried self-touch or erotic meditation session, alone, with the lights how you like them, on your own time. As you touch or attend to different parts of your body, use the diagram below to mark the zones you want to explore further: places that feel alive, curious, unfamiliar, charged, numb, or just worth a second look. There's no right answer and no category to sort yourself into, just focused (I want to keep paying attention here) or left blank. Tap a zone to mark it focused, tap again to clear it. Jot a quick note on what you noticed for each one you mark. Come back to this again another time, what draws your attention can shift session to session.
Tap or click a zone to mark it as one you want to explore.
What did you notice?
Optional. For each zone you marked focused, a word or two on what came up: sensation, temperature, tension, ease, nothing at all.
What surprised you?
Use "Save as a text file" to keep a copy, and share it with Matt however's easiest, by email, Voxer, or in your next session. Nothing here is stored automatically.
A note as you work through this: this work is coaching, not therapy. If this practice brings up more than you expected, please reach out. In the US or Canada, call or text 988 anytime, or search "crisis hotline near me" to find local support wherever you are. You don't have to carry this alone.
