The artist behind Verosoul
Gabe
@bloodiedflora
Every painting you see across Verosoul came from one artist. Gabe took ideas I could only describe and gave them colour, texture and a pulse.

Artist Q&A
A further look into Gabe's artistry.
What first pulled you toward making art?
I've been creating and making art for as long as I can remember. Funnily enough, studying art in high school and college sort of pulled me away from it, but art and making is how I express my love for things and people so the creative spark was always bound to return.
How would you describe your style to someone who hasn't seen it yet?
I think my style is quite adaptable and changes to suit the vibes and theme of each piece I work on. Generally, however, it's soft and warm, and always chases traditional textures and detail.
What was it like creating the lotus piece for Verosoul?
Bringing other people's ideas to life is always fun and a bit of a challenge. For this one, I pushed into bolder colours that I wouldn't generally use with visuals that mix classical and modern, reflecting the ancient concepts that Matt moulds to aid the modern man.
Where do you go looking for inspiration?
Like many artists, I draw inspiration from mythology and folklore, and the masters that painted them. Romantic, Baroque and Gothic styles are my favourite. I also take inspiration from the media I love (mainly video games) and the musings of the communities around them.
What are you working on next?
I always have a million and one projects going on. Some very quietly being chipped away at in the background and others get done like clockwork. But my main focus right now is working with all the lovely people who have taken interest in commissioning me, while also learning a whole new drawing software, which is something I haven't done in a long time!
