Where do you find your people?
Dating apps are one door into connection, not the only one. This is a collection of 100 different avenues to find community. It is not a directory of places to join, but a set of directions to look. Some entries name something specific, others just point at an angle you might not have considered. Filter by what pulls you, build a short list, then go find the local version of whatever made you curious.
Three things worth remembering
- Tell the people who already know you that you're looking. A direct ask to a friend is more effective than hoping they'll guess.
- Revisit someone you dismissed too quickly. Sometimes the friend-zone was a first impression, not a verdict.
- Show up more than once. Community is built by repetition, not a single appearance.
Before you go
Which one or two of these feel most like you? And is there one you're avoiding, for a reason worth naming?
